Beyond Artemis: Human Expeditions to the Moons of the Solar System

Humankind is returning to the Moon, but we won’t stop there. The international Artemis program is designed to enable exploration much farther afield. Care to float around on the Martian moons? Journalist, lecturer and space artist Michael Carroll has written about 35 books on subjects ranging from planets and space exploration to ancient archeology. He has written for dozens of magazines worldwide. Carroll is a Fellow and founding member of the International Association for the Astronomical Arts.

NASA's Lucy Mission: Updates and Mainbelt Encounters

NASA’s Lucy Mission launched in October of 2021 and will be the first to Jupiter’s Trojan asteroids. By the end of its twelve-year mission, the spacecraft will have flown by a record-breaking number of asteroids for a single mission (eleven and counting!). Four and a half years into the mission, Lucy has passed through the main asteroid belt and is bound for its first Trojan encounter in August of next year. What has the Lucy team been up to?
